The thing stopping me buying a Oculus Quest is not battery life but battery LIFE....

Just like with all batteries they lose capacity, these days I’m getting so fed up with products having to be replaced simply because the battery is now only 80% and starts acting up.This is a major drawback to me for tether-less VR because within 2 years my quest will be a nuisance to use rather than a pleasure. This isn’t just an issue with the VR market I know it includes laptops , phones etc but I just can’t justify paying £400 for a headset when I can get the Rift S which will last considerably longer.I don’t see tetherless VR being mainstream unless the current Quest eventually drops down to £200 where people will justify replacing it every 2 years. Why is lithium ion the best we have :,( I can’t wait for better batteries to revolutionise the world, probably gonna be a decade though.
