I took my first trip in like three months last night.
I got out of the car and left my power bank and lightning cable behind.
I woke up today and realized it was missing and likely in the Uber. I did the standard contact the driver thing and saw the $15 fee, which I didn't mind cause I get it, the driver has to make an effort to come back to me.
I got a hold of him, he confirmed he had the item and he asked how I wanted to do this and I said "well, the app says you can charge me $15" and he flat out said "I want $40 or I can mail it".
I tried to get a hold of support and they just keep cut and pasting stuff and not actually discussing my issue. I keep telling them I'm more then willing to pay the $15 but they stopped responding like an hour ago. A support agent even tried to close my claim. I want my stuff back and I don't think I'm being unreasonable.
