I have been friends with a a person on FB, but recently noticed that messages / FB messenger texts between August of last year and February of this year vanished. There were also messages before August 2019 that vanished as well.I went so far as to download my FB data, unzip it, and look through the archives. Same thing--hundreds of messages gone between me and that one person.Has anyone ever seen this? Can someone delete messages on their side and they vanish off my side?So I was curious if maybe he unfriended me and then re-friended, but when I go into his profile, select the "show friendship" option, it doesn't tell me the the date we became friends. In some cases, when I look at someone's profile it tells me, and other times it doesn't. Does a privacy/security setting control that?
