I purchased what was advertised as an Office Home & Business 2019 product key and after I entered the key, it says it's for Office Professional Plus 2019. I read up a bit on it and it seems Office Professional Plus just comes with some additional stuff.
Anyway, I'm able to activate Office, and download and use all the Office apps. What concerns me is that under Account Privacy -> Manage Settings, I see the following:
"Some privacy options are managed by your organization's admin. There are optional connected experiences you can control because your admin has given you this option.
Optional connected experiences
Office has helpful features that are powered by cloud-backed services. Your admin has given you the option to control some features including Smart Lookup, Outlook Weather, Insert Online 3D models, and more. Most connected experiences are managed by your admin."
Is this normal or is there something wrong here? I'm the admin of the computer I installed office to, and I'm not part of any organization. Is this version of office safe to use?
I just want to make sure somebody else isn't exercising control over my Office installation / saving my files to some remote server or something.
Thanks
