Earlier this evening I tried to order groceries via Cornershop, and received an error that there is a pending balance on my account and my transaction could not be processed. Confused, I contacted Cornershop support, who directed me to Uber support (I use Cornershop through Uber). I contacted Uber support who replied with the following:
There are currently trips on your account that are still processing, totaling CA$57.38, and these charges are preventing you from using Uber Eats.
I am very confused as I have not used Uber ride sharing since July. I have ordered Uber Eats many times since then, the latest being last night. I don't believe my card has been compromised as I've looked closely and don't see any recent charges that are out of the ordinary. Does anyone here have any insight into what may have happened here? Thanks in advance.
