After messengers recent update it logged me out of the app for the first time in four years. I’ve since forgot the password associated with the account. And here’s the funny part, although I do in fact know the phone number associated with the account, anytime I do the “forgot your password” attempt Facebook will not offer the account I want as an option to reset the password. By entering random passwords I was able to log into old accounts I haven’t been on in years and only after I just recently logged into those accounts will it then offer those accounts as an option in the forgot your password link. I have exhausted any passwords I think might be right and looked up too many failed tech support questions already. So is there any possible way to contact somebody or an alternative way to search and recover this account or do I need to just cut my losses. This account still exists because I can look it up on messenger. It, however, is a messenger account stand alone no Facebook account is connected to it. Thanks for any tips in advance.
