How often should developers post?

We are very happy about the supportive community here on reddit.However, we have noticed some comments towards other developers, telling them that they had posted too often. We know that reddit is all about community and we don't want it to become an advertising board.We are a three-person team, and we would like to share our progress with the community.So we wanted to ask you, how often do you think a dev should post for self promotion? What kind of content do you prefer? Is there anything else that you would like to add?
