[Using the htc-vive on windows] [Help post]

I have a very specific issue i can barely describe, i can't tell if my eyes are getting used to the stereoscopic effect or its a software issue but VR doesn't look like VR anymore, objects will look smaller and more flat aswell as appearing a little farther away than they would be in real life, when i first got my headset i was amazed by the effect; taking my headset off and back on watching the controller match the exact position of the the one in my hand but testing it now it looks a tad misaligned. I know its not a tracking issue because it extends into the games i play, with beat saber in specific my controllers appear smaller in size and the ui elements (screens, setting options, score menus, ect) all look smaller aswell, more like a flat 2d surface. Occasionally after booting steam vr it'll appear to have fixed itself, everything will align like it did the first time i used it, reassuring me it must've been a software issue. Aswell as this the IPD viewer popup ui thingy wont appear when i twist the knob on the left of my headset to adjust the IPD.it's a strange issue but it's really getting on my nerves, In particular HLA has been alot less immersive aswell as BaS.
