I've been a Google Play music subscriber for years now, and its algorithm has helped me find some fantastic music, and even when it played music I already knew about, it was almost as if it read my mind on what to play next. It's the main reason I've been happily using it instead of Spotify, going so far as getting a family plan.I wasn't too excited about the transition to Youtube Music. I hate the look of it and "Youtube Music" just sounds terrible, but whatever, it's about the music, right?Decided to try it out today to prepare myself for the change, so I started a "Bonobo" radio station, which usually gives me really great trip-hoppy artists and really chill songs. Instead, I'm given some obnoxious rave music every other track.WHY would Google kill a great service with an inferior one. At the very least have it use the same algorithm. I'm incredibly disappointed and might just have to switch to Spotify if I'm getting the same shitty results. At least Spotify is widely supported on many devices.
