Is there a cheaper version of Microsoft Office and Excel I can download?

I apologize if this is the wrong subreddit to post on. If you could so kindly tell me the right one I'd appreciate it.

If this is the right subreddit though, is it possible to get a cheap version of Microsoft Office that has Excel and PowerPoint?

I need this for a college class. Well. Not so much a college class but a course that is offered by the college.
