Objective: to get Uber to allow me to add a tip on an October, 2016 trip.
My wife and I took a trip to Scotland in October, 2016 (I know... I know). We only took one Uber during the trip and it was our first ever. I didn't tip the driver thinking that he keeps all the money, or most of it. My wife said to me after the driver left that he looked sad or disappointed.
It's bothered me since then, especially when I found out months later that tip isn't included and that the drivers don't get paid well.
I still have the r-receipt and the driver's information, but can't figure out how to get Uber to let me give the driver a very late, but generous tip. Especially, during these very difficult times for the transportation and hospitality industries.
Please only provide helpful information: no "it's been too long" or "just let it go" comments.
