Unfair Trial Period Billing Methods on Google Play {

This is super frustrating. I downloaded a 7 day trial version of Avast VPN service and I forgot to cancel the trial subscription service after the 7 days. And now I must pay $35 for the year. That's so ridiculous! Why bill without warning?The way it should work is, after the trial period is over, the app should just stop working until you pay for it. I guess it's my fault so I'm just gonna lump it. But it seems a bit unfair and almost cheating in Google's part.
