Can i be deleted from a group by another Admin even though i created the group?

I created a FB group that has gained a lot of traction. I added several admins early on in the process(after it was created) that are doing fine. I dont have any issues , but.. Ive read or heard recently on two other groups that i frequent that the group creator as removed by a subsequently added Admin. I cant see how that can or should be possible> anything i google leads me to posts/articles no newer than 2015, most confirm that it cant be done, but one actually says it IS possible for a non creator(Admin) to remove the original creator.( IE for groups like non profits that were started by someone who is no longer with the non profit so their access/control needs to be denied.
