The two examples I can think of is Echo Arena and The Under Presents. I don't really know what to call the first one? But I think the game holds enough variance to be it's own genre with the movement through space at it's core. The Under Presents is something I only tried recently, and it's really crazy as it's like immersive theatre in VR and I think that could spawn it's own genre as well with the amount of things people could do with it.
I think these are truly paving the way for new genres because no one has ever done anything like it before instead of the strand system from Death Stranding which is mixed opinion on whether it's considered a new genre or not since Dark Souls and a few other games have similarity.
