Need help. My moms account's email and and password got changed overnight. Using change password or secure account wont work.

The only option facebook is giving is to retrieve a code to an email that we are unaware of. When we try the old email the account was made on, it says it doesnt exist. However if we try inputing the log in email and the password it takes us to the account we want but the password says old password and needs new one. However if we try to retrieve a new password or code it sends it to a different email. Is there any help center thats not a scam that we can call to help with this issue.
