Hey I just started using 2 step verification for my outlook account associated to my xbox account a couple weeks ago. Today I got a new phone and the old one got wiped. The old one was my trusted device so now when I'm prompted to match a password with the authenticator or use that app to log in, I cant. I only have my email and no other "step" to verify that it's me.
I dont think there is a way around this and I think I'm just going to need to create a new gamertag and everything.
Anybody have any tips?
I screwed up big time.
