Why are some drivers lazy, worthless pieces of garbage who try to scam?

Three times now in the past several weeks, Uber drivers have taken more than one hour to get to me. They will accept my ride, even if they are literally five minutes away, then drive around the area or sit in a parking lot hoping that I'll cancel. Nope. Today was the last straw. I let the ride go on for SIX HOURS while I watched this guy drive around Austin, obviously accepting fares via Lyft. He eventually showed up outside of my apartment after 6 hours and 20 minutes, said that I got in his car even though I didn't, and then drove 300 feet and put in that the ride had been completed. Fortunately, I cancelled my card (even knowing I would miss out on reimbursement) because I hate Uber with every last inch of my body.

Yes, I reported him. I could have easily cancelled or called customer service, but honestly, I have just had enough of this bullshit. I made sure to message the driver multiple times about what a useless piece of shit failure he is. Since he was going to keep the ride going, I kept the harassment coming. I would have said much, much worse if I knew I would 100% get away with it.
