Looking for laptop to deploy with

Hi

I am looking for a laptop to bring with me. I noticed on windowscentral.com they said the best overall windows laptop is the Microsoft's surface laptop 2.

The things I'm interested in would be streaming movies from Amazon prime such as the expanse and playing games from steam such as total war Warhammer 2 or Eve online.

Battery life not as important to me.

Do any of you guys think this would be good? Does anyone have any other awesome recommendations?
