Driver sitting on my street for 30 min after drop off?

Just got dropped off at home by a ride-share driver. I live on a dead-end street, and when leaving my driveway they went in the direction that doesn't exit. It took them 30 minutes before passing back by to leave the neighborhood. Is this weird? Should I be worried?
