Just changed the email on my Microsoft account and the old email was also my verification method. So after logging into my account with the new email a prompt came up to verify with my previous email. I still have access to this email however I don't want it on my Microsoft account. So I clicked "I no longer have access" and put in a new phone number for verification instead.
Now my account seems to be locked down for 30 days while they process it or something? I shouldn't take that long to change verification information... I'm completely confused and a bit anxious. I'm worried Microsoft thinks I'm trying to hack my own account or something.
