Help deleting old version of Office 365

Hey everyone, for some reason I seem to have Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus installed on my computer in two different versions; 1808 and 1905.

Consequently, I can see two different icons for all Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) when I open my start bar.

The main reason I need help here, is all of my files are defaulting to open in the 1808 version. This is really annoying. I want to use the 1905 version and eliminate the 1808 entirely.
